Project scope: Supply Mechanical fitting Services repairing Offshore loading attachment and fitting rotator to refurbished TA2 grab.

Trades, services and HSE:

• Set up barricading safety zone and signage around work area.

• Inspect all components and assess for repairs.

• Tap out damaged threads on housing.

• Heli coil thread repairs.

• Provision of service truck, fitting tools and 3T hyab.

• Buff and clean mating surfaces on grab and rotator.

• Refurbish and greased pins and bores.

• Crane lift rotator and install in correct orientation.

• Lubricate bolts and fit rotator.

• Torque all bolts as per specified torque and sequence. 

• Mark all bolts during torque sequence required within client and internal QA/QC.

• Connect drive motors.

• Connect all hydraulic hoses and components. 

• Visual test for leaks. 

Cleaning:

• Commercial cleaning and handover to client satisfaction as required.
